Awesome Murals in Cancun, street-art
Mexico is the country when it comes to murals. I have not seen anything like it before. They are everywhere, colorful, gigantic and sometimes work of a solo artist or a community project. Every wall is a painting, at least so it seems.
Fencing walls around schools are canvasses and sidewalls of buildings, even pillars of the highway are used to proclaim art.
And it is not vandalism, but pure art. Paid artists that make urban street art in every shape and size and for every occasion. I have seen many, and I hope to see more.
You find them everywhere, even in the hotel zone, but certainly all through downtown Cancun. Just hop on a bus, get off anywhere in Downtown Cancun and start exploring.

Going to Downtown Cancún from the hotel zone got a lot easier
