How is the beach in Playa del Carmen when there is Sargasso

Because of the enormous problems with the seaweed (sargasso) in Quintana Roo, Mexico, many people booking a hotel in the Riviera Maya search the internet for updates on the status of the beaches.

I walk the beach every day and I can say they are getting better every week. Because the Sargasso season is nearly over. There are some points where there is still some seaweed, but nothing in comparison with a few weeks and months ago.

I did not walk the beach in Playacar with the camera (yet) but trust me those beaches are clean and the waters nearly clear. It is all depending on wind, tide, and current of course, but you will have a great holiday when it comes to the beaches.
